We’re seeking a reliable and safety-focused MR or HR Tanker Driver to join a supportive team delivering LPG to residential, commercial and industrial customers across the Wodonga region.
This is a long-term opportunity offering $40.00 per hour plus superannuation, weekly pay, comprehensive training, a great work-life balance with a 3-4 day roster, and the chance to develop specialised skills in an essential industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an MR/HR LPG tanker throughout the Wodonga region.
- Deliver LPG to residential, commercial and industrial customers.
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Complete delivery paperwork using handheld technology.
- Maintain high safety standards and report hazards, incidents and compliance issues.
- Follow all relevant road transport, dangerous goods and workplace safety requirements.
- Work closely with dispatch while providing excellent customer service.
What You’ll Need
- Current MR or HR truck licence appropriate for the vehicle being operated.
- A clean National Police Check obtained within the last 6 months.
- Willingness to obtain and provide a current driving history report.
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and meet the role’s fitness requirements.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and customer service.
- Ability to use handheld devices or willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts and occasional overtime.
- DG licence and previous tanker, LPG, transport or delivery experience are advantageous.
Please note: Appointment is subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check obtained within the last six months, a driving history report and a pre-employment medical assessment.
