1. About G’day Job

G’day Job, available at https://www.gdayjob.com/, is operated by StudySmarter GmbH, Bahnbogen 21, 81671 Munich, Germany.

Contact: info@studysmarter.de.

These terms govern use of G’day Job by jobseekers and website visitors. Services purchased by employers may be covered by separate agreements.

Where a function requires acceptance of these terms, you will have an opportunity to review them before proceeding.

2. Our service

G’day Job helps people discover vacancies, learn about employers and submit applications where supported.

Some vacancies accept applications through our platform. Others link to an employer or another recruitment website. Available functions depend on the listing.

We do not make employers’ recruitment decisions. A listing does not guarantee an interview, job offer, visa sponsorship or continued availability of a vacancy.

3. Eligibility and accurate information

You must use the service lawfully and provide information that is accurate and not misleading.

You are responsible for checking the age, qualifications, work rights and other requirements of a vacancy. A listing does not establish your eligibility to work in Australia.

If you are under 18, you must have any parent or guardian permission required for the activity concerned and comply with applicable employment restrictions.

Do not impersonate another person or submit their information without authority.

4. Accounts and security

Some functions require an account. Keep your account details current and your password confidential.

If you suspect unauthorised access, change your credentials and contact info@studysmarter.de.

We may take proportionate steps to secure an account or investigate suspicious activity. You are not automatically responsible for activity carried out without your authorisation.

5. Applications

Check the recipient, answers and attachments before submitting an application.

Submitting an application through G’day Job instructs us to transmit its contents to the recipient identified in the listing. Delivery does not guarantee that the recipient will review or respond to it.

Employers are responsible for their recruitment decisions and employment offers. Confirm material details directly with them before accepting an opportunity.

Be cautious of requests for payment, banking information or identity documents. Report suspected scams to us with the listing URL and relevant details.

6. Alerts and optional communications

Where available, you may subscribe to job alerts or other communications.

You can unsubscribe using the controls provided or contact us for assistance. Necessary account, security and service messages may still be sent.

Accepting these terms does not authorise unrestricted marketing or distribution of your CV to employers you have not selected.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Upload unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory or misleading material.
  • Infringe another person’s privacy, intellectual property or other rights.
  • Send spam, malicious software or unauthorised documents.
  • Access accounts, information or systems without permission.
  • Harvest personal information from the platform without a lawful basis.
  • Use automation in a way that disrupts or compromises the service.
  • Use G’day Job for impersonation, scams or other abusive activities.

We may investigate reports and respond according to the seriousness of the issue.

8. Your content

You retain your rights in your CV and other materials you submit.

You give us permission to host, process and transmit that content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide functions you request.

This permission does not authorise us to use your CV in public advertising or circulate it indiscriminately.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for anything you upload. Avoid including third-party personal information that is unnecessary for your application.

9. Platform intellectual property

The platform’s software, design, branding and content belong to their respective owners.

You may use the service for its intended purposes. These terms do not grant a general right to copy, resell, republish or commercially exploit platform materials.

Any permissions provided by applicable law remain unaffected.

10. External services and listings

External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. Review them before creating an account, purchasing a service or submitting information.

We may remove or restrict a listing while investigating suspected fraud, unlawful content or a rights complaint.

To report a concern, email info@studysmarter.de with the relevant URL and supporting information.

11. Fees and paid services

A link labelled “Premium Login” does not, by itself, mean you have purchased a subscription.

Before any paid service is ordered, its price, scope, duration and cancellation terms must be disclosed. Accepting these general terms alone does not authorise a charge.

Purchases made directly from a third party are governed by the agreement with that supplier.

12. Availability and changes

We may carry out maintenance, resolve incidents and update platform features. Temporary interruptions can occur.

We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes affecting an ongoing service. Any change affecting a paid service remains subject to its contract and applicable consumer protections.

We do not promise that every listing will remain available or that the platform will operate without interruption or error.

13. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable protections under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our responsibility for loss or damage will be determined under applicable law. Statements about third-party listings and service availability do not remove liability that the law requires us to accept.

Career information is general information. Check the circumstances of a particular role with the employer and seek qualified advice where necessary.

14. Suspension and account closure

You may request account closure by emailing info@studysmarter.de.

We may restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary to address a serious breach, fraud or security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to request review.

Closing an account does not withdraw applications already received by employers. Personal information will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

15. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

Separate permissions will be requested for optional activities where required. Acceptance of these terms does not replace those permissions.

16. Updates and disputes

We will publish revised terms on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be communicated appropriately and will not retrospectively remove accrued rights. Where required, we will seek renewed acceptance.

For enquiries or complaints, contact info@studysmarter.de.

Any governing law or jurisdiction arrangements remain subject to mandatory protections available to users in Australia. These terms do not require you to waive access to a competent regulator, tribunal or court.
