Your Mission
- Conduct vulnerability assessments & penetration testing (Nessus, Burp Suite, Metasploit).
- Monitor, detect, and respond to threats using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
- Implement and audit security controls aligned with ISM, PSPF, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with developers to embed security into software lifecycle (Dev Sec Ops).
- Investigate incidents, recommend mitigations, and harden systems against emerging threats.
You’re the Perfect Fit If You Have
- 3+ years in cyber security analysis, ideally in defence, government, or critical infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with
- Vulnerability scanning & pentesting tools (e. g., Nessus, Burp Suite, Kali Linux).
- Security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, ISO 27001) and compliance standards.
- SIEM (e. g., Splunk, Sentinel), EDR, and network defence tools.
- A proactive, detail-driven mindset—you spot risks before they elevate.
- Strong communication skills—you translate technical risks into actionable insights.
Non-Negotiables
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory for Defence clearance).
- Eligibility to obtain/maintain NV1/NV2 clearance (existing clearance a huge plus).
