About the role
As a Prep Chef, you’ll play an important role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly, preparing ingredients and components ahead of service and supporting the broader kitchen team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and portioning ingredients to specification
- Preparing sauces, stocks, marinades and other kitchen components
- Assisting with bulk preparation
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
- Ensuring food preparation areas are clean, organised and compliant
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures
- Supporting chefs and kitchen operations as required
About you
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen or prep role
- Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
- Works efficiently and enjoys working as part of a team
- Has strong attention to detail
- Understands food safety and kitchen hygiene requirements
- Is comfortable working independently and managing prep lists
- Has a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
