THE OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a confident, hands-on Assistant Manager who thrives in high-energy environments and is excited to help lead the day-to-day operations of The Exchange Hotel.
This is more than a business-as-usual role. You'll be trusted to lead from the front, shape service standards, develop teams and influence the guest experience across the bar, gaming and bistro.
Working closely with the General Manager, you'll play a key role in driving operational standards, developing your team and delivering an exceptional guest experience across the venue.
Key responsibilities are;
- Leading high volume service, late-night trade and entertainment.
- Setting service standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Coaching and motivating teams across bar, floor and restaurant operations.
- Managing opens, closes, operational decisions and guest escalations.
- Driving compliance, safety, performance and a positive team culture.
ABOUT YOU
You're a strong, calm and confident leader who thrives under pressure and loves the buzz of a busy hospitality environment.
You'll bring:
- Experience as an Assistant Manager or Senior Duty Manager in a similar environment
- Background in high-volume hospitality, late-night or entertainment venues.
- Confidence managing teams and running shifts independently.
- A solutions-focused, people-first leadership style with a passion for exceptional guest experiences.
- Availability for nights, weekends and public holidays
- Current NSW RSA, RCG & ARCG IdealPOS and Deputy experience is highly regarded.
