Join a growing team delivering quality commercial plumbing and electrical services across regional WA. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on Trade Assistant to join an established crew working across multiple camp facilities throughout the Goldfields and surrounding regions.
Working alongside experienced plumbers and electricians, you will assist with a range of hydraulic plumbing and electrical installation works, including:
- Underground and underslung drainage
- Poly pipework and water connections
- Electrical inground pits and conduits
- Cable installation
- Testing and commissioning of dongers and site facilities

About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with inground and underslung drainage installations
- Assist with inground poly pipework and water connections
- Support the installation of wastewater disposal systems and hot water services
- Assist installation of inground electrical pits and underground conduit and pipework
- Assist with pulling, running and preparing electrical cables
- Support electricians with cable connections and terminations under their direction
- Assist with electrical fit-outs and connections within dongers and site facilities
- Assist with testing and commissioning of dongers and associated site services under the direction of qualified trades
- Handle, prepare and organise plumbing and electrical tools, materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite
- Follow instructions from plumbers, electricians and supervisors
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with site procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Maintain a positive, professional and team-focused approach
Role Requirements
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
- Previous experience as a Trade Assistant
- A willingness to learn and develop skills across multiple trades
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to undertake physically demanding work
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a professional approach
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work in a remote site environment and adhere to roster requirements
Tickets and Licences
- Valid WA Driver's Licence
- Construction White Card
- National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
- Experience operating mobile plant, including small excavators and bobcats, will be highly regarded but is not essential
