We are looking for reliable, energetic and detail-focused casual Housekeepers to join Mantra Orange. This is a unique opportunity to begin approximately one month before the hotel opens, assisting with the final preparation of guest rooms and hotel spaces. Once the hotel opens, you will move into regular housekeeping duties, with shifts offered according to occupancy and operational needs.

This is a unique opportunity to begin approximately one month before the hotel opens, assisting with the final preparation of guest rooms and hotel spaces. Once the hotel opens, you will move into regular housekeeping duties, with shifts offered according to occupancy and operational needs.
What you will be doing
- Before opening: carry out post-builder cleaning of rooms and allocated areas, including removing dust and construction residue using approved methods and equipment.
- Prepare rooms for guests: make beds, place linen and towels, arrange amenities and guest supplies, clean kitchens and bathrooms, and check presentation.
- Identify and report any building defects, damage, missing items or safety hazards for follow-up by the appropriate team.
- After opening: service departure and stayover rooms, replenish supplies, clean public areas and maintain excellent presentation standards.
- Work safely with cleaning chemicals and equipment, follow instructions and support the Head Housekeeper and wider team.
What we are looking for
- A strong work ethic, reliability and excellent attention to detail.
- Previous hotel, serviced-apartment or commercial cleaning experience is highly regarded; training in Mantra Orange standards will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Availability for shifts starting at 8:00 am, including weekends and potentially public holidays.
- Ability to safely undertake the physical requirements of housekeeping, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.
