We are looking for an experienced Senior Groomer with a love for pets. You will handle grooming and styling of dogs of all breeds, including breed-specific clips and scissor cuts, working unassisted. You must thrive in a team setting and be committed to creating positive experiences for both pets and their owners.
Key responsibilities
- Handle grooming and styling of dogs of all breeds, including breed-specific clips and scissor cuts
- Handle dogs with care and ensure their comfort throughout the grooming process
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and provide recommendations
- Keep grooming tools and the salon clean and organised
- Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring pet owners are satisfied with the grooming results
- Identify any potential health or skin issues and communicate these to pet owners
About you
- At least 3 years of experience as a professional pet groomer
- Excellent handling and grooming skills for dogs
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well with pet owners
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work safely and efficiently
- Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing the highest standard of pet care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unassisted and clip and scissor across all breeds
