Podiatrist – Community Allied Health | NSW

Independent Contractor | Flexible Availability | Community-Based Visits Across Sydney and Surrounding Areas

Make a meaningful difference in the comfort of clients’ homes!

Your In Home Rehab (YIHR) is growing, and we're looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Podiatrist to join our supportive community allied health network in NSW as an independent contractor.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a practitioner who values autonomy, flexible scheduling and delivering personalised, high-quality care.

You’ll provide mobile podiatry services to clients across Sydney and surrounding areas, supporting older adults, NDIS participants and other people receiving care at home.

About the Role

As a community Podiatrist, you’ll deliver professional assessments and treatment in clients’ homes, working collaboratively with clients, families, care partners and our coordination team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide comprehensive podiatry assessments and individualised treatment plans.
  • Deliver routine foot care, nail and skin care, and management of common foot conditions within your scope of practice.
  • Assess foot health, footwear needs and mobility-related concerns; recommend appropriate interventions or referrals.
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical notes, reports and treatment documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, families, referrers and the YIHR team.
  • Manage appointments and travel efficiently while maintaining safe, person-centred care.

About You

We're looking for a caring, organised and independent clinician who takes pride in delivering excellent community-based care.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • A recognised qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration.
  • Professional indemnity and public liability insurance appropriate for your practice.
  • A current National Police Check and relevant worker screening checks as required.
  • A valid driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to client homes.
  • Strong communication, time-management and clinical documentation skills.
  • Confidence working independently and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Current Australian working rights and an ABN suitable for contractor arrangements.
  • A commitment to safe, respectful and person-centred care.
  • Highly regarded, but not essential: Previous experience in community podiatry, aged care, NDIS or home-based allied health services.

Why Join Your In Home Rehab?

  • Flexible contractor work: Discuss availability and suitable service areas with our team.
  • Supportive team: Work alongside responsive administrators and allied health clinicians.
  • Community impact: Support clients to maintain foot health, mobility and independence at home.
  • Professional autonomy: Apply your clinical skills in a varied community setting.
  • Growing network: Be part of an expanding multidisciplinary provider across NSW and VIC.
