Young Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking experienced
Labourers & Carpenters to join our team on a full-time basis in Gladstone, QLD.
This is a hands-on position that plays a crucial role in the successful completion of our building and construction projects.
As a Labourer & Carpenter, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality craftsmanship and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.
Your work will directly contribute to the reputation and success of our company across the Gladstone region.
- What you'll be doing
- Preparing and maintaining job sites, including managing materials, tools and safety equipment
- Performing carpentry work including framing, formwork, timber installation and finishing tasks
- Reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and competently
- Assisting with measuring, marking and cutting materials to specification
- Contributing to site cleanup and waste management in accordance with environmental standards
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and the construction team to meet project deadlines
- Performing general labour tasks as required to support project completion
- What we’re looking for
- Proven experience working as a Labourer or Carpenter in the building trades industry
- Three Site Medipass ( Yellow)
- Current White Card
- EWP
- Working at Heights
- Competence in the safe use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality
- Experience working on residential, commercial or civil construction projects is highly valued
- Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship completion are essential for Trades
