Technical Program Lead ( Baseline Clearance )
Purpose: take end to end accountability for the timeliness, quality, efficiency and sustainability of the program's technical deliverables.
Seniority: Principal. Reports to: Program Director, working with the Program Design Authority.
Responsibilities
- Own the integrated technical plan: prioritisation, architecture alignment, engineering direction and sequencing across streams.
- Ensure technologists work effectively with each other and with business colleagues.
- Assure that technical deliverables are robust, fit for purpose and sustainable after the program.
- Lead the technical approach to legacy stabilisation, migration and decommissioning.
Essential: technical program leadership of a large legacy modernisation program; leading multi vendor technical teams. Desirable: mainframe (ADABAS, Natural, JCL) to cloud modernisation; strangler and service extraction patterns; government registry or regulatory systems
