Must Have Skills
- Hands-onexperience deploying Git Lab Omnibus in production.
- In-depthknowledge of Git Lab components: Gitaly, Praefect, Postgre SQL, Redis, Registry
- Experiencewith Postgre SQL HA using Patroni, etcd, Pg Bouncer, HAProxy.
- Strongunderstanding of VM-based architectures (e. g., VMware, KVM, or Hyper-V).
- Objectstorage integration using Min IO or S3-compatible services.
- Git Lab Geo setup and synchronization troubleshooting.
- CI/CD configuration, runners, token management, andaccess control.

- Setup and maintain Git Lab Geo replication between Site A (primary) and Site B (backup).
- Configure Postgre SQL HA clusters using Patroni, etcd, Pg Bouncer, and HAProxy
- Implementand manage Gitaly Clusters with Praefect for repository sharding and HA
- Setup Min IO as an on-prem object storage backend with bucket-levelreplication
- Configureand isolate Redis as non-replicated, cold standby at Geo secondary site
- Automateinfrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.
- Integrate Git Lab with internal DNS, firewall, and networking services for HA &DR readiness.
- Configureand manage Git Lab Runners with appropriate executor strategies using k8.
- Developand execute backup, restore, and failover testing procedures.
