Job Description
Purpose: establish and lead the Ways of Workingfunction and champion ongoing improvement in program effectiveness andefficiency.
Reports to: ProgramDirector.
Responsibilities
- Baseline flow metrics: cycle time, throughput, work inprogress, dependency wait and predictability.
- Map the program value stream to find where work waits.
- Run a prioritised improvement backlog as measured experimentswith program leadership.
- Write successful changes into the RegistryConnect Waysof Working.
- Transfer the function to an ASIC lead before exit.
Essential: led agile or lean ways of workingtransformation at program or portfolio scale with measured results.
Desirable: scaled agile frameworks; flow metrics tooling; government deliveryenvironments.
