Job Description
- Position: Atlassian Architect
- Detailed Job Description - Strategy & Architecture
- Define migration roadmap and cloud adoption strategy.
- Assess current Jira, Confluence, Marketplace Apps, integrations, and infrastructure.
- Design future-state Atlassian Cloud architecture and governance model.
- Recommend best practices for scalability, security, compliance, and administration
- Solution Design
- Design solutions for application rationalization and process optimization.
- Evaluate Marketplace App compatibility and migration approaches.
- Architect integrations with enterprise tools such as Azure AD, Service Now, CI/CD, and third-party applications.
- Provide recommendations for automation, reporting, and AI/Rovo adoption
- Governance & Stakeholder Management
- Act as primary technical advisor to client leadership and project teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and solution workshops.
- Collaborate with Atlassian, client SMEs, security teams, and delivery teams.
- Support executive reporting and steering committee discussions.
- Technical Oversight
- Mentor engineers, administrators, and migration specialists.
- Review configurations, security controls, permissions, and performance requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Atlassian Cloud best practices and enterprise standards
- Must Have Skills: Required Skills
- 8+ years of Atlassian ecosystem experience.
- Extensive experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence.
- Proven experience leading large-scale Data Center to Cloud migrations.
- Strong understanding of Atlassian Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA/CCMA).
- Expertise in workflows, permissions, schemes, automation, and Marketplace Apps.
- Experience with SSO, Identity Management, and security frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
