Xpress Health is seeking experienced and passionate Chefs and Cooks to join our growing casual workforce across the Riverina region of NSW.
We partner with a range of healthcare providers, including aged care facilities and hospitals, to deliver reliable catering and kitchen support. We are looking for dedicated culinary professionals who take pride in preparing quality meals and contributing to the wellbeing of residents and patients.

About the Role
As a casual Chef or Cook with Xpress Health, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of healthcare settings throughout the Riverina, including residential aged care facilities and hospitals.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking nutritious, high-quality meals for residents and patients.

Catering to dietary requirements, texture-modified meals and special dietary needs.
-
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards within kitchen environments.

Working collaboratively with kitchen teams and healthcare staff.

Following established menus, recipes and food preparation procedures.

Supporting kitchen operations across breakfast, lunch, dinner and other rostered shifts.
What We’re Looking For

Certificate in Commercial Cookery or a relevant Chef/Cook qualification.

Previous experience in commercial kitchens.

Experience in aged care, healthcare or hospital catering highly regarded.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable, professional and flexible approach to casual work.

A genuine passion for preparing quality meals and supporting the healthcare community.
Compliance Requirements
To meet the compliance standards required by our partnered aged care and healthcare organisations, applicants will be required to provide:

Current National Police Check.

Food Safety qualification or certification.
-
Manual Handling Certificate.
-
Certificate in Commercial Cookery / Chef qualification.

Immunisation records.
Additional compliance requirements may apply depending on the healthcare facility.
