About the role
Working in our busy kitchen, you will help prepare and cook our menu items while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, hygiene and presentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Asian dishes according to our recipes and quality standards.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
- Follow food safety procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Assist with stock control and minimise food waste.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
About you
- Previous experience working as a cook or in a commercial restaurant kitchen.
- Experience preparing and cooking Asian cuisine, which will be highly regarded.
- Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen hygiene and safe food handling.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
