Xenos Restaurant Bar Cafe' is seeking a Casual Kitchen Hand/ Dishwasher to join our team in Crows Nest. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our busy kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our food service. Day shifts available starting from 8am.
What you'll be doing
Assist the kitchen team in food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Stock and restock kitchen supplies as needed
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef as required
What we're looking for
Some experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in a similar role
Applicant MUST be well groomed and MUST be punctual (on time)
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and under pressure
Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, must be fluent in English language
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the role
