The opportunity Salesforce is currently at the centre of the applications environment, with several major pieces of work underway. You’ll contribute to a major Salesforce improvement program, addressing technical debt, improving the user experience and helping build an important API integration to replace manual data exchanges. And you won’t be confined to Salesforce. With a new enterprise data platform being developed and internal AI capabilities already in use, you’ll have opportunities to work across integration, automation, data and emerging technologies. You’ll be encouraged to identify improvements, challenge existing approaches and help shape and deliver solutions rather than simply following a predefined roadmap. These projects will help frontline teams spend less time on manual processes and more time supporting the people who rely on their services.

What you’ll bring

  • Your current title isn’t particularly important. You could be an Application Engineer, Application Support Analyst, Applications Specialist, Business Systems Analyst, Technical BA or Developer.
  • What matters is that you enjoy understanding how a business works, can translate its challenges into practical solutions and have the technical capability to help build them.
  • You’ll build strong relationships with stakeholders, ask thoughtful questions and challenge assumptions constructively.
  • You’ll also bring the composure and judgement to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities.
  • You’ll have some practical coding experience in at least one language, alongside the ability to understand, troubleshoot and improve applications.
  • Salesforce experience isn’t required.
  • Just as importantly, you’ll bring energy, ambition and curiosity.
  • You’ll take initiative, contribute ideas and approach unfamiliar challenges with a willingness to learn.
  • You don’t need to arrive as the finished product. You do need the get-up-and-go to become one.

Why consider it?

  • You’ll have the opportunity to build on your existing experience, take on greater technical responsibility and develop capabilities that could open up a much broader career path.
  • You’ll join an organisation that helps people build skills, access opportunities and move towards meaningful employment.
  • Your work will directly support the teams delivering these services and the people who depend on them.
  • You’ll also be part of a supportive environment where people are encouraged to experiment, take sensible risks and learn quickly.
  • The role offers a $130,000–$140,000 base salary + superannuation, together with not-for-profit salary packaging through SmartSalary. Depending on your individual circumstances and how you choose to package, this can provide an estimated $12,000–$14,000 in additional annual tax benefits.
  • The role offers up to three days working from home each week, with a minimum of two office days.
  • Marrickville is the main technology base, although other office locations may be available depending on business requirements.

All applications and enquiries will be treated with the strictest confidence.
