Role Description
The Freelance Videographer is a contract role based on-site in Adelaide, SA, supporting the studio’s creative and live event projects.
This role includes planning and executing video shoots, operating cameras and related equipment, setting up and adjusting lighting, and capturing high-quality footage in various environments.
The Videographer will collaborate with producers and creative leads to understand project objectives, follow storyboards or shot lists, and ensure visual consistency with brand and client guidelines.
Day-to-day tasks may also include basic on-set audio coordination, equipment checks and maintenance, and occasional support during live events to capture both planned and candid content.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production, including planning, shooting, and coordinating on-set workflows.
- Proficient Camera Operation and Camera handling, with familiarity using different camera systems and lenses.
- Experience with Lighting setup, adjustment, and control to achieve desired moods and visual styles.
- Demonstrated ability in Shooting Video in diverse settings, such as live events, studio shoots, and location-based projects.
- Knowledge of basic video editing software and post-production workflows is beneficial.
- Ability to follow creative direction while contributing ideas to enhance visual storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and reliability in meeting project deadlines.
- Previous experience in event, commercial, or promotional videography is an advantage.
