We’re looking for an experienced Draftsperson to join our dynamic and growing team at Workshop 28. If you come from a cabinetmaking or joinery drafting background and are highly skilled at producing accurate shop drawings that are used directly on the factory floor and on-site, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
- Creating detailed setout drawings using Microvellum (or AutoCAD-based software)
- Working closely with our Project Managers, Factory Foreman, and production staff
- Liaising with builders, architects, and suppliers from concept to completion
- Supporting procurement and material take-offs
- Providing accurate and buildable drawings to ensure smooth manufacturing and installation
What You’ll Bring
- Trade background in cabinet making or joinery
- Strong skills in Microvellum, AutoCAD or similar
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Proven experience producing detailed shop drawings
- Good supplier knowledge and basic procurement skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and team collaboration
- Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude
