About Our Client
Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal.
With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin.
What You Will Be Doing
Working as a support Shotfirer in an open-cut coal mining environment. This role offers a 7/7 Day Shift only roster, on a open-cut mine near Moura.
- What you will need
- Previous experiencing working as a support Shot Firer in an open-cut coal mine
- Current Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical or be willing to obtain.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen.
- Current HR Licence & full working rights in Australia.
- Queensland Explosives Security Clearance (QESC)
- ASIO Police Check
- Support Shot Firer Tickets (shotfirers only)
- RIIBLA201E - Support Shotfiring Operations
- RIIBLA205E - Store, Handle and Transport Explosives
