What You Will Be Doing
As an Auto Electrician / Diesel Fitter you will be responsible for the below duties:
- Maintain large engines and vehicles, including parts ordering
- Maintain and complete housekeeping of the test cell and dyno
- Support the Workshop Supervisor across the workshop, test cell and yard
- Provide large engine mechanical expertise to the engineering team
- Provide auto electrical expertise and practical solutions to the engineering team
What You Will Need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the below:
- Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician and Diesel Fitter
- Experience working with large engines and auto electrical systems
- Gas fitting experience on vehicles is preferred
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
