Turret/Brake Press Operator to join their growing team in Thomastown.

This exciting opportunity will be on Dayshift 7am - 3.06pm Monday - Friday. We are after a highly motivated
Turret/Brake Press Operator , to become an integral part of the team.
This is a Temp to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
You will play a key role in producing high-quality fabricated components by accurately interpreting technical drawings, following work orders, and maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Turret Punch machines and other manufacturing equipment
- Assist other machine operators as required to support production flow
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and manufacturing specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance, inspections, and quality checks
- Ensure products meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and quality requirements
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Skills & Qualifications
- Trade-qualified or experienced Sheet Metal Worker / Fabricator
- Proven experience operating and/or programming CNC Turret Punch machines or similar metalworking equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible across production area
