Workforce Extensions Parramatta is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a well-established food manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified electrician with experience in FMCG or food manufacturing who is looking for a stable, permanent role with excellent hourly rates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on food manufacturing and packaging machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise production downtime
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, motors, sensors, drives and control systems
- Maintain and repair conveyors, production lines and automated machinery
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase plant reliability
- Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards and site procedures
- Work closely with production teams to maintain efficient operations
What We're Looking For:
- Current Australian Electrical Licence – Essential
- Previous experience in food manufacturing, FMCG or a similar industrial environment
- Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with PLCs, VSDs, motors and automated machinery
- Ability to respond efficiently to machinery breakdowns
- Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and food manufacturing standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
