Workfast is looking for an experienced RIW Excavator Operator to join a major Rail project in the Junee region, NSW.
Pay Rate: Day Shift: $46 per hour + OT + Super + Allowances
Location: Junee, NSW (Tier 1 Rail Project)
Hours: 10-12 hour shifts; Monday – Sunday
Start Date: ASAP

What You Will Be Doing:
- Operate excavators fitted with GPS machine control systems to complete civil earthworks and excavation activities.
- Carry out bulk and detailed excavation, trenching, battering, grading and site preparation.
- Use GPS technology to work accurately to design levels, alignments and site specifications.
- Interpret site plans, drawings and levels to ensure work is completed to project requirements.
- Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, surveyors and ground crew to coordinate daily activities.
- Complete pre-start inspections and maintain equipment in a safe operating condition.
- Identify and report hazards, underground services and potential site issues.
- Maintain accurate work standards while meeting project deadlines and productivity targets.
- Follow all site safety procedures, SWMS and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with general civil construction duties as required.
What You Need:
- RIIMPO320F Excavator Ticket.
- Current VOC (Verification of Competency) Statement of Attainment.
- Construction White Card.
- Valid Driver’s Licence.
- Proven experience in detailed civil or rail earthworks.
- Ability to pass regular on-site Drug & Alcohol screening.
