Workfast is looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team.
Salary: $85k to $90k (based on experience) with uncapped commissions, OTE $150k+. A $15k car allowance paid monthly (depending on site visits).
Ideal candidates will have a proven background in blue collar recruitment for industries such as civil, construction, rail, mining, waste management or manufacturing. Workfast provides recruitment solutions to some of the biggest Tier 1 construction, civil, rail, mining and infrastructure projects across Australia.
About you:
- At least 1 year’s experience in a recruitment position for Blue Collar roles.
- 1 year’s labour hire recruitment experience would be ideal.
- Proven experience of account managing multiple clients.
- Proven track record with recruiting for multiple roles.
- High proficiency in using LinkedIn, Seek, Seek talent and social media.
- Excellent administration and organisational skills.
- Willing team player who can work with our team to drive Workfast to further success.
- Proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Full licence and own vehicle to travel out to site.

What you'll be doing:
- Recruitment for multiple roles.
- Account management.
- Site checks in for client meetings and new starters.
- Communicating with clients to better understand their requirements.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Screening resumes, qualifications and experience of candidates.
- Interviewing potential candidates.
- Carrying out reference checks, organising medicals, training and inductions.
- Successfully mobilise staff to client sites.
- Maintain a database of candidates.
