The Opportunity

As a Provider Payments Representative, you’ll help ensure providers and other stakeholders receive accurate, timely and professional support across payment and finalised claim matters. Your work may involve registering and maintaining provider accounts, reconciling discrepancies, processing refunds and payment adjustments, supporting debt recovery, or finalising claims and directing work to claim owners. You’ll combine careful processing with practical problem-solving. Working to agreed timeframes, you’ll complete manual data entry accurately, identify when information or a payment doesn’t look right and stop to investigate before continuing. Where required, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, including Claims, to resolve issues and protect the accuracy and integrity of provider payments.

About You

You’re a self-driven and dependable processor who takes pride in getting the details right. You’ll be confident managing deadlines, following financial and operational guidelines and communicating professionally with providers and internal stakeholders. Experience in financial processing, payments or provider account management is highly regarded; experience in workers’ compensation, insurance or health services is desirable, and a qualification in business, finance or administration will also be well regarded.
