Melbourne team.
Reporting to the Melbourne Survey Manager, you will beexecuting precise surveying tasks on built-form construction projects.
This role involvessetout, verification, as built and documentation of survey data to support engineering and construction projects.
You will be
- Performingcalculations, set out, as-builts and verification tasks for structural elements, gridlines, and services on built-form projects.
- Providingaccurateplans, measurements, calculations, and reports to support engineering and construction teams.
- Managingsurvey equipment, software, and data management systems (e. g. Leica, Auto CAD, Civil 3D)
- Usingsurveying equipment (e. g., total stations, GPS, theodolites) to measure angles, distances, and elevation.
- Leading and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development aligned with company goals.
We’relooking for someone who has
- University qualification or TAFE Diploma in Surveying.
- Aminimum of3 years of practical experience in construction surveying, specifically in high-rise or built-form projects.
- Extensive knowledgeofsurveying instruments and software (e. g., 12d software, Auto CAD, Leica Survey equipment)
- A valid driver’s license and White Card.
- Experience in communicating with clients and understanding their requirements.
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
With this role, thesuccessful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screening. Periodic drug testing may berequiredper company policy.
- Experience in major infrastructure, civil or commercial construction projects in Australia.
