Location
Based at our first Australian site in Redbank, Queensland this role will see you join our team of Mechanical Technicians within our brand-new and fully climate controlled distribution center. Watch our Video Here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDCpTmgCv8c
We are now looking for passionate and energetic Maintenance Technicians for our shift Maintenance Team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Our technicians work rotating shift work 5.00am to 2.30pm & 2.00pm to 11.00pm (including days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays).
About You
- A Trade qualification in a Mechanical discipline - Mechanic/Diesel/Maintenance Fitter etc
- A commitment to safety in the workplace
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Aptitude to learn new concepts and procedures.
Meet The Physical Requirements Including
- Frequent walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing.
- Working at heights of up to 30 metres (wearing fall-arrest gear and other PPE)
- Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 25kgs unassisted
Your New Role
- Participate in a broad array of mechanical tasks (Reactive Maintenance/Preventative Maintenance and Planned Repairs)
- Fault Finding and Rectification of Mechanical Components (motors/gears/Pulleys/Chain Conveyors etc)
- Assist in the installation of new or refurbished components
- Complete maintenance records and work orders accurately.
