With a position available in Dubbo & Wellington, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing essential water and sewer assets that serve our community. This hands-on role offers exciting variety as you assist with repairs, maintenance, and connections, working outdoors as part of a dynamic, supportive team.

You’ll find growth through:
- Operating and maintaining specialised equipment and construction plant
- Assisting with on call and emergency response after hours
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance of water and sewerage reticulation systems, including connections of both water and sewerage
- Ensuring the continuous operation of water and sewerage reticulation system
- Ensuring data is recorded on trusted performance including councils MRS and CRM, along with operations daily requirements.
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
- General construction Induction card
- Previous experience in water/sewer or construction industry
- General administrative skills demonstrating a competent level of literacy, numeracy and basic computer skills.
- Australian Class C Drivers Licence
We would also love you to have:
- First Aid Certificate
- RMS Traffic Controllers Certificate
- An MR (Medium Rigid) driver licence
- Certificate III Water Operations (Reticulation)
This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $65,350 to $75,947 including market allowance. Applications close 9:00am, Tuesday 3rd November 2026.
