Project Manager - National Design & Construct Builder
The Client:
With over 30 years industry experience, this company has established themselves as one of Australia's leading specialist Design & Construct builders in the commercial space.
Specialising in the design and delivery of fitout, refurbishment, and redevelopment projects, their national delivery portfolio includes commercial workplace, hotels/pubs & clubs, specialist healthcare, education and government.
This group's QLD business has successfully delivered repeat work on behalf of institutional clients including ALH, Charter Hall, Ramsay Health, Brisbane Airport Corp, UQ, Accor Hotels, Scentre Group, Vicinity Centres, GPT, Stockland, Aus Venue Co, and various State & Federal Government bodies.
Due to continued growth, they're seeking a Project Manager (Junior and/or Intermediate) to join their SEQ team in Brisbane.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end ownership from pre-construction through to practical completion
- Lead and coordinate site, contracts and project teams
- Manage budgets, programmes, procurement and project delivery
- Manage variations, EOTs, claims and commercial outcomes
- Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification
About you
- Demonstrated ability in managing the delivery of commercial fitout, refurbishment and redevelopment construction projects (valued $1M<).
- Strong understanding of commercial contract governance and relevant risk mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction or related disciplines.
