Senior Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator

Wickham Dental Group is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated Senior Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator to join our growing team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced dental assistant ready to take the next step into a leadership role, or an established Clinical Coordinator looking for a new challenge.
Working across our Brisbane CBD and Carseldine practices, this combined role offers the perfect balance of hands‑on clinical assisting and clinical team coordination.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, supporting and mentoring our dental assisting team.
Coordinating daily clinical operations and DA rostering across both practices.
Providing hands‑on chairside assistance across general and specialist dentistry.
Managing stock control, ordering and clinical supplies.
Overseeing infection control, sterilisation, WHS and clinical compliance.
Supporting training, clinical systems and accreditation requirements.
Working closely with our dentists and team to deliver exceptional patient care.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has a minimum of 3 years' dental assisting experience.
Holds a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (Certificate IV highly regarded).
Has previous leadership, mentoring or clinical coordination experience.
Has strong organisational, communication and computer skills.
Has excellent knowledge of infection control and clinical procedures.
Is proactive, reliable, positive and able to multitask.
Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
Experience with Praktika dental software will be highly regarded.
