The predicted salary is between 38250 - 46750 $ per year.
This is a hands-on role running the warehouse floor and daily dispatch. Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll work alongside the team every day to make sure orders are received, picked, packed and delivered accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities:
- Receive, pick, pack and dispatch orders with the team, keep stock accurate in Unleashed and keep the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
- Coordinate daily delivery runs so trucks are loaded correctly and leave on time, and act as the point of contact for internal and third-party drivers.
- Work with Customer Service to resolve order queries, shortages and delivery issues.
- Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery timings, discrepancies, returns and product quality.
- Supervise, train and roster warehouse staff and drivers.
- Maintain food safety, cold chain and WHS standards.
About you:
- Experience in the Australian food service or wholesale food distribution industry.
- Hands-on warehouse experience covering receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and stock control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal clearly and professionally with staff, drivers, customers and suppliers.
- Experience supervising a warehouse team.
- Knowledge of food safety, cold chain and stock rotation.
- Unleashed or similar inventory system experience.
- Walk-behind forklift experience and clean driver's licence.
- Available for 7:00am starts, Monday to Friday.
