Wholesale Car Parts Plus is a well-established 4x4 and passenger vehicle dismantling business based in Rocklea, Queensland. We specialise in supplying quality new and used automotive parts across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, including tested new, used and reconditioned engines, transmissions and panel parts.
Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Storeman / Delivery Driver to join our busy and friendly team.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone with previous warehouse experience, good automotive parts knowledge and a willingness to assist across all areas of the business. The successful applicant will be responsible for parts quality control, warehouse operations, stock handling and local deliveries to customers and workshops.
Key Responsibilities
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
Inspecting and quality checking new and used automotive parts for condition, damage and completeness.
Cleaning and preparing parts for storage and sale.
Photographing automotive parts for online listings and inventory records.
Identifying, labelling and accurately recording parts within the inventory system.
Locating, picking and retrieving stock using an RF scanner.
Receiving incoming stock, checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
Safely loading and unloading deliveries and incoming stock.
Organising and putting stock away in designated warehouse locations.
Assisting with stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Completing local deliveries and collections of automotive parts to customers, workshops and suppliers.
Loading and unloading the company vehicle, ensuring goods are handled and secured safely.
Ensuring delivery paperwork is completed accurately and goods are checked upon collection and delivery.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse and work environment.
Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
Assisting with general warehouse and automotive parts duties as needed.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in a warehouse, storeperson or automotive parts environment.
Good knowledge of automotive parts, vehicle components and their applications.
Experience with receiving, picking, packing and dispatching stock.
Experience using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
Current forklift licence (essential).
Current driver's licence and confidence driving locally (essential).
LO licence (preferred).
Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
A positive attitude, reliable work ethic and willingness to get hands-on.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
