We primarily work with children and families living with disability, combining evidence-informed therapy with practical strategies that make everyday life easier.

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys collaborating with other disciplines, values strong relationships with families, and wants to keep growing as a clinician. Whether you're an experienced therapist looking for a change or a new graduate starting your career, we'd love to hear from you.

Why work with us?

  • Genuine multidisciplinary teamwork: Our team offers Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Music Therapy, Counselling and Behaviour Support. Physiotherapy for dogs, cats and wildlife is also offered on-site.
  • A structured approach to therapy: We use a block-based therapy model that incorporates goal-setting, regular intervention and outcome reviews.
  • Time to do your job properly: We recognise that great therapy involves much more than face-to-face appointments.
  • Support to develop your career: We value curiosity, reflective practice and continuing professional development.
  • Flexibility that works for everyone: We offer full-time and part-time opportunities and are happy to discuss working arrangements.
  • A workplace where people matter: We value kindness, humour, honesty, teamwork and treating people as individuals.

What will you be doing?

You'll be working primarily with children and their families, providing assessment and intervention to support participation in everyday activities, including self-care, play, sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor development and independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing assessments and developing practical, individualised intervention plans.
  • Working collaboratively with children, families and their support networks to identify meaningful goals.
  • Delivering evidence-informed, neuroaffirming therapy.
  • Supporting parents and carers to develop strategies they can use in everyday life.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across our multidisciplinary team.
  • Monitoring progress and communicating outcomes clearly.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participating in supervision, team discussions and professional development.

We encourage therapists to develop their clinical interests and contribute ideas that improve how we support families.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Is eligible for or already has unrestricted AHPRA registration.
  • Enjoys working with children and families.
  • Values evidence-informed, family-centred and neuroaffirming practice.
  • Communicates clearly and enjoys working collaboratively.
  • Is organised, reflective and committed to maintaining high professional standards.
  • Is open to learning, sharing knowledge and developing their clinical skills.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. We value attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn alongside clinical experience.

What do we offer?

  • Competitive remuneration based on qualifications and experience.
  • Full-time or part-time employment options so you have genuine work-life balance.
  • Structured clinical supervision and mentoring.
  • Professional development allowance and paid study leave.
  • A collaborative multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedicated administrative support.
  • A structured therapy model with time allocated for non-face-to-face clinical responsibilities.
  • Opportunities to develop areas of clinical interest.
  • On-site parking at our St Marys clinic.
  • A friendly, welcoming workplace where your contribution matters.

Come meet us! Choosing where to work is a big decision, and we know a job advertisement can only tell you so much. If you're interested in joining a team that values thoughtful clinical practice, genuine collaboration and helping children and families reach their goals, we'd love to hear from you.
