WhiteWater Marine is seeking a full-time Yard Person/All Rounder to join our team in Ashmore, QLD. This hands-on role will involve a variety of tasks to support the smooth running of our marine maintenance and repair facility. As part of our close-knit team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' boats are well-maintained and their experience with us is exceptional.
What you'll be doing:
- Assist with boat launches and movements within the yard using forklifts and other equipment
- Assist general boat cleaning and preparation tasks, such as washing
- Ensure the workshop, yard and storage areas are kept neat, tidy and well-organised
- Liaise with customers and provide a high level of customer service
- Collection of new stock from suppliers
- Assist with service bookings
What we're looking for:
- Experience in a similar hands-on, customer-facing marine or automotive role
- Knowledge of boat maintenance and repair processes
- Proficiency in using forklifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work well in a team
