As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be ensuring our plant machinery is maintained through scheduled maintenance, while being at the forefront of helping keep our operations safe, reliable and on schedule. You will work with other teams to plan maintenance to reduce downtime of machinery.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure planned maintenance is completed with minimal downtime, and prioritise safety through effective hazard identification and risk management
- Encourage proactive work to reduce need for potential high-risk tasks and focus on quality assurance to minimise exposure of your maintenance team to hazardous tasks
- Ensure work order feedback and closeouts are completed accurately to improve maintenance efficiencies
- Provide technical support to contractors and warehouse personnel for procurement and management of parts
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate
- A safety first mindset that is aligned with our STRIVE values
- Experience in the mining or heavy industry with strong working knowledge of Maintenance, Planning and CMMS
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word.
- Live local to the area (Gunnedah, NSW) or willingness to relocate (temporary accommodation and relocation assistance provided)
