What's the role?
As a Principal Platform Engineer, you'll be one of the most senior technical leaders for the Service Now platform.
You'll bring 7+ years of Service Now experience and help set engineering direction, define standards, solve complex technical challenges, mentor engineers, and guide how the platform evolves over time.
You'll work closely with engineers, architects, product owners and stakeholders to improve platform capabilities and support the adoption of AI, automation and emerging technologies.
This is a permanent role.
What do I need?
- Strong Service Now platform knowledge across multiple products and capabilities.
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise-scale Service Now solutions.
- Strong skills in Java Script, scripting, APIs, integrations and automation.
- Ability to define engineering standards, patterns and best practices.
- Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.
- Experience leading complex technical initiatives and delivering outcomes.
- Knowledge of platform architecture, security, performance and governance.
- Experience with AI, automation and emerging technologies.
- Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
