You will work as part of a team to provide personal care in a neighbourhood community-like environment for residents.
As a Personal Carer, you will complete activities that include:
- Assist residents to attain and maintain their optimum degree of independence, dignity, privacy and quality of life.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of information about resident care and wellbeing through appropriate channels to the Registered/Clinical Nurse or Facility Manager.
- Take a proactive approach to the health and safety of residents, staff and visitors and share ideas for improvement.
- Providing care in accordance with Clients Care Plan.
What makes a difference for us:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or similar.
- Proof of Vaccination Status as required by Legislation, Health Directives or WMQ Policy throughout employment and prior to commencement.
- Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ policy.
