What you’ll do:
We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Marketplace Manager to lead the performance and growth of our marketplace channels. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of marketplace partnerships, including Uber Eats and future marketplace channels, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, operational excellence and sustainable commercial growth. Working closely with teams across eCommerce, Retail Operations, Technology, Merchandise, Marketing and Supply Chain, you’ll optimise existing channels, support new partner launches and identify opportunities to improve customer and business outcomes.
- Own the operational performance of marketplace partnerships, ensuring strong customer and business outcomes.
- Lead onboarding, implementation and expansion of new marketplace opportunities and partners.
- Establish effective partner governance, service standards and performance-review processes.
- Work with eCommerce Trade teams to drive marketplace sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Use operational and commercial performance data to identify and deliver opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Coordinate operational readiness, testing and successful delivery of new features, launches and enhancements.
- Manage vendor and partner relationships, ensuring delivery against contractual commitments and service levels.
- Improve marketplace processes, manage operational risks and embed continuous improvement across the channel.
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience managing eCommerce marketplaces, including day-to-day operations, performance and partner delivery.
- A practical understanding of marketplace platforms, fulfilment operations, inventory management and customer service models.
- Experience managing external partners, including governance, service levels and performance reviews.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into action.
- Experience supporting complex projects, launches and operational transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage audiences from frontline teams to senior leaders.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, eCommerce, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Retail or a related discipline.
