We are seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team at Wendouree Car Service & Roadworthy Centre in Ballarat, Victoria. This role will see you providing high-quality automotive servicing and repairs to our valued customers and can be 20, 30 or 40 hours per week.
What you'll be doing:
- Diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicle makes and models
- Conducting scheduled services and maintenance work
- Replacing and repairing components such as brakes, engine parts, and electrical systems
- Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
What we're looking for:
- Qualified motor mechanic with a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Demonstrated experience in a similar automotive repair role, ideally 2+ years
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly
- A commitment to safe work practices and attention to detail
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- A Roadworthy license would be an advantage, but not essential
