About Better. Together: Better. Together. is a free mental health service for people aged 18 and over across the Murrumbidgee region. We believe better mental health care happens when services work together, not separately. Our approach is person-centred, recovery-oriented and focused on the whole person. We work with participants, GPs and the wider service system to support mental, physical, social and emotional wellbeing.

About the role: As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each person's individual needs, strengths and goals. • Facilitating psychoeducation and therapeutic group programs
  • Coordinating care across primary, specialist and community services
  • Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences, Team Care Reviews and clinical discussions
  • Supporting stepped-care transitions and warm referrals to other services
  • Participating in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development

You will also need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and current registration or accreditation, at the level required for that discipline - refer to position description for detailed list
  • Demonstrated understanding of recovery-oriented, trauma-informed and person-led practice
  • Right to work in Australia
  • 100 points of ID
  • Valid Driver Licence and willingness to travel
  • Satisfactory National Police Record Check
  • International Police Check (if applicable)
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - Quality Safety and You

What we will offer you:

  • A purpose driven culture where people can thrive, everyone is respected, and differences are valued
  • Paid Cultural Leave
  • An equitable, diverse, and socially inclusive work environment
  • Salary packaging up to $15,899 enables you to spend a portion of your salary before it is taxed to pay for things like rent, mortgage repayments, car leasing

  • Receive 17.5% leave loading every time you take annual leave
  • Paid parental leave after 12 months of ongoing employment
