You're the person who makes sure nothing slips. Client files are current, reviews are ready well before the meeting, and the adviser walks in knowing exactly where everything stands. Wealth Effect Group has spent more than 15 years advising pre-retirees, retirees, business owners and SMSF trustees. We've made two acquisitions in the last three years and we're growing fast. We're a small, sharp team of three in our Currumbin office, backed by support staff offshore and a lot of smart technology. That means no layers and no politics. You work directly with the Principal Adviser and own your part of the business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Most of the role (around 70%) is running client service:
    • Booking and managing all client appointments, including reviews, new client meetings and signings
    • Calling clients to chase information, confirm meetings and keep things moving
    • Keeping Xplan accurate and current for every client, and running Xplan workflows so nothing is missed
    • Preparing review packs and making sure every review is ready ahead of the meeting
    • Managing onboarding, portfolio transactions, transfers, contributions and withdrawals
    • Liaising with platforms, product providers and accountants, and keeping the adviser across every open matter
  • The rest (around 30%) is associate work:
    • Gathering and organising client financial information ahead of advice
    • Modelling in Xplan, Wealth Solver and Risk Researcher
    • Preparing paraplanning requests
    • Joining client meetings where needed, taking notes and actioning follow-up

About you

  • 5+ years in financial planning in a client services, associate or paraplanning role
  • Hands-on experience with Xplan (including workflows), Wealth Solver and Risk Researcher
  • Strong knowledge of investment platforms and admin processes
  • Happy on the phone all day. You like talking to clients and you’re good at building relationships
  • You work fast without getting sloppy, and you notice when something doesn’t add up
  • Organised, self-driven and comfortable owning a workload without being chased
  • Comfortable working alongside AI tools and keen to use them to work smarter

Benefits

  • Real responsibility and visibility across a growing business
  • A pathway into an Associate Adviser role if that’s where you want to go
  • Work from home one day per week after probation
  • An established practice where your work is noticed
