We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and motivated Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager to join our Browns Plains Store in a Permanent Full Time position. As the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager you will be:
- Responsible for ensuring the Browns Plains store operates safely and effectively at all times.
- Delivering outstanding customer service and achieving sales revenue, profit targets and increased market share.
- Assisting our customers face to face and over the phone, keeping them informed of promotional activity and gaining an understanding of their business needs and wants.
- Performing regular stock takes, stock replenishment, unpacking and storing inward goods.
- Using pallet jacks, walkie stackers and other devices to assist with manual handling.
- Maintaining visual merchandising and store presentations to the required standards.
In order to be considered, you will have:
- A strong Customer Service background in a store environment - hospitality, retail or similar.
- A high level of competence in managing retail store operations.
- Sound working knowledge of safety management and improvement.
- An ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Strong skills in people management and customer engagement.
This is a physical role with lifting up to 32kg for our heaviest tin of paint. We are looking for a great communicator and relationship builder, who will work alongside a great team providing an exceptional in-store customer experience. Being comfortable with manual handling and working in a trade environment is a must, engaging with customers from the construction industry and assisting them with their needs.
