We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Architect to join our team in Sydney on a contract basis for a duration of 6+ months, with the possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data migration strategies to Snowflake from various legacy systems.
This position is essential for enhancing our data architecture and ensuring seamless integration within our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data migration strategies to Snowflake from legacy systems.

- Ensure data integrity and security during the migration process.
- Optimise Snowflake performance and manage data storage solutions.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture and cloud solutions.
- Proven experience in migrating data to Snowflake from legacy systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies and data warehousing concepts.
- Cloud certifications (e. g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure) are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
