Wattle Logistics is seeking an experienced and reliable MC Truck Driver to join our growing team for a permanent interstate linehaul run between Melbourne and Perth. Key responsibilities
- Complete scheduled linehaul runs between Melbourne and Perth
- Safely operate MC-class heavy vehicles over long-distance routes
- Ensure freight is transported and delivered in accordance with operational and customer requirements
- Conduct vehicle pre-start and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate work diaries and required transport documentation
- Comply with NHVR regulations, fatigue management requirements and company safety procedures
- Ensure loads are properly secured and inspected throughout the journey
- Maintain regular communication with the operations team regarding progress, delays or issues
- Take responsibility for the safe operation and care of the vehicle and equipment
About you
- A current and valid Multi Combination (MC) licence
- Previous interstate or long-distance linehaul driving experience (preferred)
- A strong understanding of heavy vehicle safety and fatigue management requirements
- Knowledge of load restraint and vehicle inspection procedures
- A reliable, responsible and safety-focused attitude
- The ability to work independently and manage long-distance schedules
- Good communication skills and a professional approach to work
