Walkinshaw Group is a leading player in the automotive sector, known for innovation, quality, and engineering excellence. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a knowledgeable Safety Advisor to join our growing team to create a safer workplace and influence positive change.
As our Safety Advisor, you'll be a visible and trusted presence across the site, partnering with leaders and employees to drive safety performance, manage workplace risks and build a culture where everyone goes home safely every day.
Reporting to the Safety Manager, you'll provide practical, on-the-ground safety support through workplace engagement, incident investigations, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with operational teams, you'll help integrate safety into everyday decision-making while contributing to a proactive and high-performing safety culture.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with leaders and teams to identify risks and create safer ways of working
- Being a visible presence across the site, providing practical safety advice and support
- Leading incident investigations and helping to implement effective corrective actions
- Facilitating risk assessments and supporting the implementation of practical risk controls
- Using safety data and insights to identify improvement opportunities
- Supporting audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum)
- Experience in a Safety Advisor, HSE Advisor, Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, warehousing or another operational environment
- Practical experience in incident investigations and risk management
- A confident communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Passionate about creating safer workplaces and driving continuous improvement
