Senior Accountant / Client Manager in Cairns

As a Senior Accountant / Client Manager, you will be responsible for

• The preparation of financial statements, taxation returns and tax plans for a wide range of individual and business clients
• The preparation of additional statutory reporting requirements, including payroll tax, Work Cover and QBCC matters.
• The creation and implementation of business cash flow, forecasting and other various value-add reporting material including various advisory engagements
• The preparation of BAS, FBT, TPAR and other ATO lodgements as required
• Reviewing work and training accountants and junior accountants in the business
• Providing support and assistance to the management team or being an active member of the management team

• To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following attributes:
• Completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Major)
• Currently studying towards or recently attained CA/CPA qualifications
• 6+ years of business services and taxation experience
• Sound knowledge of accounting, financial and business principles and procedures
• High quality organisational and time management skills
• Strong teamwork skills, with experience working towards team goals and KPIs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
