Who we are seeking:

• A passionate and qualified individual who is driven and focused with a desire to learn and succeed in a culinary/hospitality career to join our Kitchen Team at Ayers Rock Resort who has:
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience post-apprenticeship in a similar role
• Previous experience within a large kitchen operation
• Experience within a hotel or resort environment
• Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP principles.

Full time Positions Available:

• Commis Chef ($33.35 per hour) - Assist the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food to guests by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and supporting the kitchen team in the execution of exceptional culinary experiences.
• Demi Chef ($34.82 per hour) - Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, supporting the Chef de Partie in daily operations, and ensuring the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes. The Demi Chef also takes on leadership responsibilities, including training junior staff and stepping into a supervisory role when required.
• Cook ($30.93 per hour) - Preparing and presenting dishes that meet the hotel's culinary standards and delight guests, by following recipes, maintaining food safety practices, and contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment that ensures smooth service and quality cuisine.
