What you'll do
- Coordinate regulatory and compliance change activities for VWSFSA, including distributing regulatory alerts, actioning responses and assisting with regulatory change impact reviews.
- Assist the Operational Risk and Compliance team with operational tasks, including reporting, maintaining the compliance calendar and reporting using the Protecht GRC system.
- Assist with the coordination of regulatory / industry consultation responses and feedback.
- Accurately maintain registers, including regulatory correspondence register and regulatory change roadmap.
- Assist with the hindsight review process, including reviewing, documenting and reporting on results from hindsight reviews.
What you’ll bring
- Experience with GRC systems, preferably Protecht
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory obligations including in relation to ASIC, AUSTRAC and OAIC
- Tertiary education in business, finance and/ or law is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to understand and respond to the needs of internal and external customers
- Attention to detail including the ability to effectively review information, noting errors, discrepancies and/or trends
- Knowledge of complaints handling and/ or collections activities
- Experience in asset finance is preferred
- Communication skills including some experience in an advisory capacity preferred
